GitLab is a web-based DevOps lifecycle tool that provides a Git-repository manager with wiki, issue tracking and CI/CD pipeline features, using an open-source license, developed by GitLab Inc. This integration syncs security tasks in SD Elements with the Gitlab issue tracker.
After using SD Elements to understand the risk posture of an application, users can export all security tasks or a subset of tasks from your SD Elements project as issues within an existing Gitlab Project.
Applicable security content in SD Elements can also be tracked and worked upon by development teams that use Gitlab as their issue tracker.
When users close or otherwise resolve issues in Gitlab, the status of the corresponding task in SD Elements is changed to “DONE” when the two systems are synchronized.
